Today we are changing to winter tee markers on the North Course. There will be two white balls on the forward part of the men’s tee. Golfers may play from where they choose, but are encouraged to scatter, so as not to concentrate wear or divots. Benches and other course items are also being brought in for rehabilitation. This allows us to sand and paint these items through the winter, so that they are ready for next years golf season.
Soon, we will be switching to “two cups” on each green. This is done when the greens become frozen and we are no longer capable of moving cups. The theory is to alternate traffic between groups but we understand if more than one group choose to play the same location. Through the winter when weather allows and greens are not frozen we will move both cups.
