Wilmington Country Club received another 2.27 inches of rain yesterday totaling us at almost 7.5 inches of rain in one week. We have been fortunate to receive little wind damage and have retained all of our trees. Most surface water has dispersed at this time and we are currently rehabilitating bunkers and cutting raised surfaces such as tees and greens. We have had little opportunity to mow rough and fairways so far this week.
13 & 18 North Monday evening
Bunkers on the North were severely washed out this morning due to the amount of rain that fell in such a short period. South bunkers held up much better due to the improvement of liners and sand that occurred during the 2008 renovation. The pictures below show some of the bunker repair occurring on the North Course.
