At the time of this post we have received just over four inches of rain. As you can imagine both courses are very wet. We will assess both courses in the morning in order to determine what can be done to prepare the South Course for the Palmer Cup as well as the North Course for regular member play. Below are some pictures of both golf courses.
Here is 3 South green during a heavy period of rain when the water could not drain fast enough.
This is the area to the left of 13 South tee. As you can see the drains are not able to keep up with the rain.
Here is the area behind 1 North green. If you look close enough you can see the water entering the drain in the middle of the picture.
Here is the pond at 3 South green. The pond level is almost at the top of the wall and the over flow is discharging water at a very high rate.
