Over the past two weeks we have started to do some construction work at the practice facility. The first step of this project is to restore the bunker face at the middle target green. This bunker receives significant play and over the past year the turf on the face has become thin due to excessive sand build up. The bunker face will be restored and regrassed. Other aspects of this stage include lowering the profile of the top of the bunker so the roll out of a shot is easier to see and the addition of sand in the bottom of the bunker to raise the floor for viewing purposes. Future elements of this project include enlargement of the middle target green, expansion of the fairway for added chipping area, and the addition of a bunker. The pictures below show the progress of the project so far. We will be adding more as we move along.
