photo (19) 1North course aeration was completed on Tuesday, with dryjecting of the greens. The same processes were completed on greens, tees, and approaches as was done to the South course the week prior. Our fairway aeration program here is not the same as the South, as we have not committed to a sand topdressing program on the North course.

Fairways were core aerified with 7/8 inch hollow tines. The cores produced were broken up and the soil from those cores was drug back into the holes. The thatch separated from the cores was blown off and collected with a vacuum.

Due to significantly warmer temperatures, wind, and drier conditions some bruising and stress is quite noticeable on fairways and approaches. These areas have been fertilized to speed recovery and should grow out of the damaged tissue rapidly with conducive weather.
