On Wedneday, October 16th the wood chip path to the left of 16 South green was converted to chip seal. This is a combination of alternating layers of stone and tar that provides a much more stable surface than stone by itself. We decided to use a red stone that blends with the area so an eye sore is not created.
- This is the stone base that is put down first. It provides stability for the path.
- Here the tar has already been put down on the stone base and a layer of red stone is being dumped on the tar.
- This is the completed path after it has been rolled.
- This is the path a week after installation. As you can see it has already weathered some and blends in nicely with the surrounds.
