Removal of 12 more Norway Maples along the front drive started last week. The trees selected have a combination of extensive decay, storm damage, or root issues limiting there health and are prone to shedding limbs during storms. New ‘Red Sunset’ Maples will be transplanted following the removal process. This project started several years ago as a response to the aging Norway Maple population. Replacement will continue for years to come, until all of the trees on the front entrance are ‘Red Sunset’ Maples.
