This week we started a drainage project which extends from the left side of the front entrance to the creek on the left side of 4 north (see map below). This will help move the water off the surface of 4 and 5 north fairways quicker and relieve the backup that occurs on the left side of the front entrance. Progress on drainage projects has been inhibited dramatically this winter compared to last winter due to wet conditions and deeper freezes. We also incur more damage to the surrounding areas of the project site due to the wet conditions slowing the final cleanup process. Winter is the best time to complete these projects due to the little amount of play on the golf course.
